Berim is looking for a Business Development and Programme Coordinator.

Job description
Under the responsibility of the Manager of the Asia Department
Mission 1: Business development
1.       Development of leads
·         Assessment of market opportunities in the field of urban development for the company activities: engineering design, project management, technical assistance.
·         Identification of leads with private and public sector
·         Preparation of follow up tools
·         Participation to field related conferences on behalf of Berim
2.       Meeting with the potential clients and partners
·         Developing the network of stakeholders: public authorities (City, Province/Region), private companies and international organisations (Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Development Agencies)
·         Developing an understanding of the private sector (developers, industries, suppliers)
·         Organization of meetings and preparation of minutes
3.       Preparation of bids
·         Identification of potential partners (consulting organisations, NGOs, freelancers…)
·         Writing methodology notes
·         Preparation of the bids dossier (administrative, financial and technical proposal)
Mission 2: Strategy and Operation of the Company
1.       Administrative support
·         Liaison with the administration for the needs of the company
·         Coordination of the company staff activities
·         Translation and update of materials
·         From time to time, participation to recruitment interviews
·         Dealing with Tax issues (PIT/CT and CIT)
2.       Company Strategy
·         Participation to the elaboration of the medium and long-term strategy in Southeast Asia
·         Taking part in the implementation of communication strategy on the social medias
Mission 3: Programme Coordination
·         Communication with the client and project stakeholders
·         Coordination with the team of specialists (architects, sectorial experts, engineers, environmental and social advisors…)
·         Participation to the preparation of project outputs (deliverables, workshops, presentation)
·         Follow up activities such Schedule of Works and Reporting

Qualifications and experiences
·            Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
·            Bachelor, Masters or PhD degree related to urban development or engineering or business development
·            Minimum five years of relevant experience
·            Excellent written and spoken English language skills
·            Sense of business and ethics
·            Well organized, efficient, with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
·            Commitment to learn, open to change and willing to try new things
·            Strong interpersonal and communication skills
·            Strong computer skills, with demonstrated competence in Excel, Word and Power point.
